Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (IR) Nursing has been dedicated to providing a place for discussing various issues related to IVR Nursing in order to ensure the safety and effectiveness of IVR for patients.  The Study Group’s objectives include improving clinical nursing practice in the radiology department by acquiring up-to-date specialist knowledge and refining skills, clarifying the roles of nurses in team medical practice, establishing specialization of IVR nursing by providing ongoing training and exchange.

Welcome to our website.

Ever since its establishment in 2000, the Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (IR) Nursing has been dedicated to providing information on nursing via various events.

This is probably the only nationwide study group in Japan that is organized exclusively by nurses.  We are happy to say that we have finally revamped our website.  We are hoping to make this website useful not only for IVR nurses, but also for nurses in adjacent and outpatient wards and in fact everyone involved.  We also hope that this website will be useful for the patients and their families.
